In the interest of transparency, anyone involved with or who has an interest in a property or business for sale or rent on Anguilla should state their interest before commenting or posting about said property on the Anguilla Forum.

It seems we are once again straying away from the transparency rule.
So we are creating a new rule.
If you are a villa owner on this forum your username must be the name of your villa. You must also include your real name in your signature. If you are currently on the forum as a villa owner and are making comments about your villa let me know so I can change your username.
If we find that you are the owner of a villa and are not registered with your villa name we will delete your account.

It is not ethical to:
Sign up as another person and recommend your villa.
Have a friend/family sign up and recommend your villa.
PM members and harrass them by offering your villa.

The owner of a domain is easy to check and we do that.
The purpose of this forum is to inform visitors about Anguilla, not to advertise your villa.
This forum is funded by myCaribbean, our villa rental website.
We list almost all villas on Anguilla. We try to locate the best villa for a persons needs and wants.
We try to give accurate information so people looking for a villa gets a good honest view of a property.

Since we have recently had the question of advertisement on this forum let me state this clearly.
If you are a villa owner and a member of this forum DO NOT ADVERTISE YOUR VILLA ON THIS FORUM.
Your villa name is listed on this forum as your username because you want to be able to comment if someone has a question about YOUR VILLA.
Then members will know that you have your own agenda when answering their question.
I.E. I am interested in Lovely Villa, is it really a nice villa, how many bedrooms?
Answer by owner with username Lovely Villa: My villa is great, you will love it, it has 3 bedrooms with bath, it has a pool, it is on the beach etc. etc. etc.
Then the member can judge for themselves if this is accurate information.
This is very simply.
Also, since myCaribbean funds this forum we reserve the right to advertise and assist people in locating the villa or accommodation they require.
Because of the state of the economy we are planning on making a list of villas and other accommodation that are offering good special deals or a better price.
