I'm planning to have lunch somehwere on the island where they have the best cheeseburger. I had originally thought that this would be a no-brainer.....the Ferryboat Inn. But others have mentioned some other places as well.
Anyone care to chime in? _________________

I vote for the Ferryboat Inn as a lunch burger, but agree the one prepared at the Pumphouse is the best overall. However, the Pumphouse only serves dinner. |

| We always stop in for burger and rum punch with Christian at Ferry Boat Inn. We brought the mother-in-law with us one year and she loved her burger at Smokey's. |

Actually, it's getting much easier to find a great burger on Anguilla - I've had really good cheeseburgers at Cuisinart, daVida and Viceroy. _________________

| Couldn't agree more with Bob. Cuisi does have a good cheeseburger. I would also vote for Ferryboat (athough never been heard great things) and Pumphouse-that makes one mean halepeno burger! Enjoy! |

Hmmm....Greens....so instead of going for some pizza, when we arrive at Blowing Point and get our rental car (left by Ronnie Bryan)...how do we get to Ferry Boat? A burger might be just what we will need!!! _________________

When you leave the ferry terminal turn left at the first opportunity - immediately after exiting the terminal forecourt. FBI is well marked a couple of 100 yards (at most) into that road. _________________ Coquina - owners of Coquina Villa in Seafeathers |

| Agree about FB. The burger at Blue ain't too bad either. Rare, with bacon, and just a bit of the xxx calypso hot sauce. Add a glass or three of chilled rose and I'm happy! |

| I have to go with the Ferry Boat burger. After reading about it so many times from all the delightfully informative forum members, I had to taste it for myself this March and I was not disappointed. I have had the Pumphouse burger on many occasions in the past, and although good, I thought the FB's was better. |

I don't eat burgers often, so when I do, I want it to be really good, and cooked the way I ordered it. So last year, based on all the Ferryboat reviews, I had one there. I'm sorry to say it was nothing special. I did, however, enjoy the friendly atmosphere, good rum punch, and a great black bean soup. _________________ Mystvlimg];http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/d/4;0130/st/20081107/e/Anguilla/k/1ac6/event.png[/img] |

| Rarely eat burgers either but the ones they serve at Tropical Sunsets (with the Swiss cheese) at Shoal Bay are my all time favourites !! |

| The best burger in Anguilla was the Zurra burger. Sadly it is no more. |

| Try Roy's Bayside Grill for a burger. Excellent meat and grilled to perfection on the barbeque grill. Also try the lobster soup which has been rated as best in the Caribbean a couple of years ago. |

The burgers at Ferryboat Inn are awesome!!!!!! I have a husband that probably is the most tough person to impress when it comes to burgers.
He thinks that the burger at Ferryboat Inn must be made of tenderloin.
All in our family love these burgers! |
