| Hi..Am new to this forum. We will be staying at Carimar in July. Was wondering if they lend you beach chairs and an umbrella for trips to other beaches? Don't know how one handles this if niot. |

| When we were there the end of April they did not have any beach chairs or umbrellas to lend out. They informed us the ones that they use to lend out had been damaged and had to be thrown out. They do have snorkle equipment available for your to borrow during your stay. |

You can rent chairs at a few different locations on Shoal Bay East, Rendezvous Bay at the Great House, Cove Bay at Smokey's, Shoal Bay West at Trattoria Tramonto (free to use the chairs if you have lunch), Crocus Bay at DaVida. You might not want to leave Meads Bay though. _________________ http://beachlover.myphotoalbum.com/albums.php

Beachlover is all over it eeniemeenie. The lack of chairs and umbrellas from Carimar is faaaaar from a show stopper. So many places to rent for 5-10 bucks a day. It's almost not worth lugging the Do Do around anyway!
So much nicer to just walk onto the beach with a book, cigar and sunscreen and have everything waiting for you.
See you at the Carimar in July!! |
